Happy New Year

Hey, do you remember me? Yeah, it's been a while. 44 days, actually. 44 days that I've been procrastinating writing here. Why? I have no idea.

I'm still trying to get back into "normal" life, after the holidays and my work deadline last week (it's done! woohoo!). Time to get back on a schedule, start getting to bed at a decent time again, and get back into blog therapy.

Ooh, that's a good thought for a new blog title. Blog Therapy. I love it! I'll add that to my mental to-do list. Along with putting away the rest of the Christmas decorations and writing my holiday thank-you notes.

Did I mention that I've been procrastinating?

Coming soon... Holiday gift projects that I did during the holidays, current projects, what I got for Christmas, and the books and DVDs that have been keeping me busy.

Another fun video

So I've been working some pretty crazy hours at work lately, including almost 16 hours today alone trying to squeeze a 6 month release schedule into 3 months. And somewhere in there I've been managing to squeeze in the holiday rush and HCB rehearsals.

For anyone who is curious, I didn't get my shopping done by my goal of Thanksgiving. I had great intentions, but Turkey Day came around so fast and now it's suddenly almost Christmas. Yikes! I have nearly all of the shopping portion complete, but I still have a good number of handmade gifts to get done, some in time to ship out.

When the dust has settled, I'll return to posting regularly. In the meantime, enjoy this fun video of Bolero on one cello. It's very impressive!
